A Soapie Reality is a low budget independently made family sitcom featuring pre-teen children from the ages of 5 - 12 in adult roles gently parodying Australian Society and Soap Operas using character archetypes and soapie scenarios.

Vision for the Show:
I would like at least a 6 episode series ideally for at least 8 seasons, further continuing the adventures of the characters and happenings to the rustic, set in its ways, town of Mulga Downs as it slowly joins the modern age. It is envisaged that as the child actors/characters age each year of production that their character ages 10 years in terms of future/multiple seasons. Hence the rustic town/society/production design/costumes/story dilemmas are aged in its setting in each season by 10 years of technological/social change/scenarios etc. (Eg 1980s in season 1 and 2040s in season 7)
