After dysfunctional Ray walks in on her best friend and new mom, Cora trying to kill herself the two women are lead on a squiggly path towards self-redemption and discovery as they navigate postpartum depression, marriage/parenting, dating and work-life balance.

Vision for the show:
The vision is for “Cray” to become a 30-minute single camera dark comedy series (the full 30-page script can be made available upon request) with the tone of Insecure and style of Workin’ Moms. Each episode follows a conflict that Cora and Ray are facing individually and how it intertwines with their friendship.

Creator, cast and director credits:

SONIA SAWKAR as RAY, Creator and Director
In addition to playing the role of Ray, Sonia is also the creator and director of Cray. Sonia is an actor, writer and filmmaker who started out her career in San Francisco doing local theater and films. She was inspired to write create Cray after developing severe postpartum depression after having her first child. She is a proud first generation South Asian American that loves telling stories that reflect diversity and equal representation both in front of, and behind the camera.

ANTONIA MIRAN as CORA
Antonia Miran is a theater and film actor based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. She is also a writer and producer that loves to tell authentic female focused stories. Her two productions of “Oral History” sold out and were a huge success.

NOE FLORES as CARLOS
Noe Flores is an award winning actor and filmmaker based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. He has performed in several plays and indie films and has a great passion for making people smile.

ALEX MORTENSEN as CHRISTIAN
Alex Mortensen is a rising Actor and Voice Over Artist based out of Los Angeles. His most recent TV credits include Yellowstone, NCIS and The Rookie.
