Friends in Far Places is an episodic series focusing on inspiring Canadians who have found a new story and purpose far from home.

Vision for the Show:
In Season 1 we visit a group of my friends from Ontario to explore how and why they defied convention and ended up across the globe. We'll examine their past and present lives and follow not only their career choices but also their passions, hobbies, and people and places they love. In each episode we’ll interview our featured subjects and follow them through their daily lives and get an inside look at where they ended up.

Director and Cinematographer Adam Bialo founded Kontakt Films after finishing film School at sheridan over 20 years ago. He has worked with hundreds of commercial and music clients over the years and this series is the next step in his search for captivating stories and beautiful imagery.
